Karachi University BDS Result 2011

University of Karachi has declared Bachelor of Dental Surgeon BDS final professional, annual examination results 2011 on Friday 22nd July 2011.
As per results..

First position was achieved by Tahara jamil daugher of Jamilur Rehman Panhwar by getting 825 marks from Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine

Second position was held by M.Usman Ghani s/o Abdul Ghafar by scoring 816 marks
from Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry and Sehrish Sarosh daugher of Sarosh Hamid

Third position in 812 marks of Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine.

There were total 264 candidates registered, out of which 228 were declared pass while 38 failed. The pass percentage remained 86.36.

Karachi to experience 10-12 hours of load shedding

 KARACHI: Electricity shortfall continues in the city and residents who were already frustrated due to the dispute between KESC and labour union will now have to face 10-12 hours of load shedding due to a shortage in supplies of oil and gas, Geo News reported.

Residents of many localities in the city complain that technical faults are not being fixed. KESC has increased the hours of load shedding to 12 in residential, business and industrial areas.

People in Lasbella protested against power outage by burning tires and blocking the road. Despite assurances from the provincial government to provide safety, several KESC offices and call centre”s remained closed.

According to the spokesperson for KESC, load shedding was being increased due to the unavailability of gas and oil. The spokesperson appealed to the government to provide security to KESC offices and workers.
